Milner Hosts Collaborative Law Institute of Texas’ 10th Annual Collaborative Law Luncheon in San Antonio
Earlier this month, Camille Milner, President-Elect of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, served as Emcee for the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas’ 10th Annual Luncheon at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Family Law Course in San Antonio. Each year, at the Institute’s luncheon, CLI-TX sponsors a speaker on a topic that is relevant to to collaborative divorce. This year, Honoree Corder, best-selling author, motivational speaker, and executive coach talked about her experiences as a divorced, single mother who designed a vision for herself that has resulted in not only her own success but the success of many others, including lawyers and high-level executives.
In her “Successful Single Mom” (and “Successful Single Dad”) series, Corder coaches divorced parents on how to be the best parents they can be and to achieve not only success as a parent but as an individual. She more recently published, “If Divorce is Game, these are the Rules,” in which she helps divorced or divorcing people learn how to most effectively get through this very difficult time with dignity, efficiency, and self-respect. With “Vision to Reality,” and “Business Dating,” Corder introduces readers to a system that will enable them to not only design their own dreams but also to follow those dreams through to completion with networking techniques that build on relationships rather than just one-time connections. Honoree has new publications coming out regularly, which her many fans now anxiously anticipate.
Honoree offered tips to the Collaborative Divorce Professionals attending the luncheon on how to promote the Collaborative Divorce movement so that families can avoid the devastation of a litigated divorce in Court.
